Mint your VRM avatar as an NFT on CryptoAvatars with ease. This guide walks you through the process of connecting your wallet, uploading your VRM, and minting your avatar on the blockchain of your choice.

Step-by-Step Minting Guide

1. Connect your wallet to cryptoavatars.io.

2. Click on "Create" and select "Mint an Avatar."

3. A 3D viewer (Minting Hub) will appear on the screen.

4. Drag and drop your VRM file onto the 3D viewer.

5. Fill in the avatar's name, description, and tags (to help categorize).

6. Upload a thumbnail image.

7. Choose the collection you want to mint in.

8. Select the blockchain for minting (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, or Optimism).

9. Review the licenses set for your VRM. Prohibited licensing allows encryption for extra security, but the VRM will be centralized.

10. Agree to the terms of service and click "Mint."

The minting process creates an ERC721 NFT.

Minting Options: Free for All and Verified Collections

Anyone can use CryptoAvatars to mint their VRM in the Free For All (FFA) collection. Artists seeking a curated experience can apply for the CryptoAvatars Verified collection, which features handpicked, high-quality avatars.
